Description:
Strong winds roared through the mid-county May 24, downing tree branches, disrupting power and, in the Carney area, destroying a barn on the property of Betty and the late Harry Lickman. The barn was built in 1928 by Harry Lickman's parents, Joseph and Anna Lickman. An addition was later built on the south end of the barn. The newer portion weathered the storm.
