Description:
Joshua Thoney, 13, exhibited the Grand Champion Steer at the 2010 Menominee County Fair. Commander in Chief weighed in at 1,220 pounds. Thoney will exhibit his steer at the Upper Peninsula Fair in Escanaba. It will be sold at the junior market livestock sale Aug. 21. The sale is held in conjunction with the U.P. fair. He is the son of Brien and Haili Thoney of Stephenson. He houses his steer at To-ne-hil Farms. He expressed thanks for help to his brother Beau.
