Description:
It was lunch break for the threshing crew during the fall harvest of 1941 when this photo was taken east of Stephenson in the Belgiumtown area. Nester Vandenhouten owned the threshing machine and area farmers joined together to help one another harvest the grain crop. Those on hand when the photo was taken were, from left to right, Willie Boucher, Nestor Vandenhouten, Sr., Harry Meintz, Albert Wery (on car), Goldie Vandenhouten, Nestor Vandenhouten with his daughters Lorraine and Marie, John Sartich, Joe Elliash, George Vandenhouten, Louie Sartich, Clifford Boucher and Lawrence Anderson.
