Lenora Gladys Brodzinski, 71, N1311 River Drive, Menominee, died Oct. 19, 2010, at her home.

She was born June 30, 1939, in Menominee, to the late John and Tess (Dietz) Ahrandt. She was a Menominee High School graduate, Class of 1957. On May 6, 1961, she married Gerald Brodzinski. She retired in 1998 from KUS Industries. Lenora enjoyed hunting, feeding the birds, trapping chipmunks, riding her 4 wheeler, going to camp and sitting around the campfire. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of Menominee; one daughter, Gail (Raymond Wilson) Dollhopf, Menominee; one son, Mike Brodzinski, Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren; two sisters, LaVerne Klimek and Ruth Amundsen; three brothers, Glen, Jack and Charles Arhandt, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sarah, Katherine and Cidella; and two brothers, Raymond and Frank.

Family and friends called Oct. 22, at the Anderson Kell Funeral Home, Menominee. Burial was in Birch Creek Cemetery. A memorial fund had been established in Lenora's name at Bay Area Medical Center Oncology Fund.

Leonard N. Carlson, died Oct. 23, 2010.

He was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Daggett. He lived in Menominee most of his life after serving in the Army and Navy for six years. After marrying Nancy (Moran) May 5, 1956, he worked at different jobs. He started at the Menominee Post Office as a janitor and ended up a Post Master, retiring in 1987. He loved his family. Len was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and served as an usher.

He is survived by his two children, Perry (Roxanne), Marinette, and Cheryl (Lori Webster), St. Johns, MI, four grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Carlson and Dorothy (Toots) (George) Chernovsky. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Wilfred and Christina Carlson, his wife; brothers, Ernie and Roland; sisters, Alice (Sue) Boucher and Violet Hanson and a granddaughter, Kayla Marie Carlson.

A service will be held at Holy Redeemer Church in Birch Creek with visitation from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, Nov. 1. Funeral Mass will be held directly after visitation with the Rev. Joseph O. Gouin officiating. A meal will be served and military committal ceremony to follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette. Memorial donations to St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Leonard's memory are suggested. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral home is serving the family.

Julia (Krygoski) Gromala, 93, formerly of Menominee, died Oct. 18, 2010.

She was born in Sobieski, MI, to Josephine and Anton Krygoski. Julia worked in Chicago in her youth, married John Gromala (also of Sobieski), and returned to Menominee. She raised five children, cared for her extended family and volunteered at a Catholic grade school. In her later years she attended her son's wedding in The Hague, Holland, traveled to Europe, visited Pope John Paul II at the Vatican and enjoyed adult enrichment courses.

She is survived by her three children, Theresa Gromala, Bloomington, MN, Denis (Laurie) Gromala, Sammamish, WA, and Dr. Diane Gromala (Dr. Christopher Shaw), Vancouver, BC, Canada; and sisters, Regina Plovich, and Ann Kosewski, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and three sons, John, Robert and Anthony Gromala.

A funeral was held Oct. 21, at St. Richard's Church, Richfield, MN. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.

Grace E. Houle, 85, Menominee, died Oct. 22, 2010, in Green Bay.

She was born Aug. 7, 1925, to the late William and Carrie (Cocking) Paull in Ahmeek, MI. She married Harry L. Houle Jan. 15, 1949, in Menominee. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, she especially liked making pasties with the church. She worked for Lundgren's Drug Store at the lunch counter.

She is survived by two brothers-in-law, Bob (Barb) Houle, Stephenson, and Don (Pat) Houle, Menominee; a sister-in-law, Ruby F. Paull, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and church family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Alden, William and Stanley; and a sister, Lottie Javor.

Friends called at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home where funeral services were held Oct. 25. The Rev. Phil Tousley officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

David Lane Isaacson, 71, of West Allis, WI died on Oct. 21, 2010, at West Allis Medical Center in West Allis.

David was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Menominee to the late Ernest and Esther (Backman) Isaacson. David was a self employed mechanic. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include one brother, Dale (Luann), Menominee, two nieces and one nephew.

Graveside services will be held in Cedar River Cemetery at a later date. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jean M. Kacynski, 91, Menominee, died Oct. 24, 2010, at Bay Area Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1919, to the late Floyd and Lucy (LaBrun) Leslie in Marinette. She married George Kacynski May 27, 1937, in Marinette. He preceded her in death May 10, 1982. She had worked at the restaurant on 13th St. through various owners for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading and working in her flower gar den and cooking. She was a member of Resurrection Parish.

She is survived by two sons, George (Lorraine) Kacynski, Menominee and Robert (Flora) Kacynski, Wallace; a daughter, Jeannine Kacynski, Menominee, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home Oct. 28, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. with Deacon Vince Beckley officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Timothy Michael Kehoe, 63, Green Bay WI died unexpectedly at his home Oct. 20, 2010.

Timothy was born Aug. 18, 1947 in Menominee, to the late James and Janette (Hansen) Kehoe. Timothy graduated from Menominee High School, Class of 1965. Timothy enjoyed 35 years of employment at Karl Schmidt Unisia in Marinette and also worked at Jozwiak's and Vernco Corp. in Menominee. Timothy was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and he also enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening and traveling around the world to warm tropical places.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Susan and her son, Marshall Johnson. Timothy is also survived by his three children, Kristin (Michael) LaBouve, Darrin (Brianna) Kehoe and Kelly (Rich) Danielewski; three grandchildren; two brothers: David (Carrie) Kehoe and Steve (Donna) Kehoe, nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee, Oct. 23. The Rev. Phil Tousley officiated. A memorial fund has been established in Timothy's name.

Loeva M. Keller, 79, Tucson, AZ, died Oct. 15, 2010, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI.

Loeva was born Oct. 20 1930, in Burlington, WI, to Perry and Pearl (Wiesenthal) Fell. Loeva was a 1948 graduate of Burlington High School where she was the class valedictorian. On Aug. 17, 1949, she married Charles Bullis. They later divorced. On March 22, 1968, she married Lester Keller in Menominee. Loeva worked as a legal secretary and administrative assistant for Bay Area Medical Center in Menominee and Marinette for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Loeva was a member of Christ Community Church in Tucson, AZ and the Women's Bible Study. She was also a member of the Welcoming Committee at the Tucson Meadows Retirement Community. Loeva loved music, playing the organ and singing. She enjoyed traveling, visiting national parks, photography, baseball, old movies, card clubs and Bible studies.

Loeva is survived by her husband, Lester; six daughters, Claire (Robert) Edmond, Burlington, WI, Cheryl Hipke, Ellicott City, MD, Caryl (James) Townsend, Corona, CA, Caren (George) Schultz, Elkhart Lake, WI, Dawn (Todd) Thoune, Menominee and Leslie (Ray) Bencivenga, Germantown, WI,; one step-son, Kent Keller, Menomonee Falls, WI, 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Loeva was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister and one grandson, George Schultz.

A celebration of Loeva's life was held Oct. 24,, at Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Don Drollinger officiating. Inurnment was Oct. 25 in the Burlington Cemetery in Burlington. A memorial fund is being established in Loeva's name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Ethel Miller, 89, Wallace, died Oct. 21, 2010, at Bay Area Medical Center.

Fayta was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Ingallston Township (Greenwoods), to the late Steve and Mary (Kurtesan) Fayta. On May 10, 1941, she married Edward O. Miller at St. Marks Lutheran Church. Ethel was a homemaker, and housewife who worked right alongside her husband on the family farm. She loved gardening, dancing, her greatest passion in life was her grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St. Marks Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of Wallace; two daughters, Donna (Don) Wurth, Menominee, and Linda (Patrick) Nor, Marinette, three grandchildren, four great-grandchil dren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joe, and two sisters, Helen and Mary.

Family and friends called at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson, where funeral service was held Oct. 24. Pastor Craig Weber officiated. Burial was in Mellen Township Cemetery.

Nancy M. Radmer, 75, Peshtigo, died Oct. 23, 2010, at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette.

She was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Newberry, MI, to the late Fred and Mary Louise (Vallier) Shampine. She married Emil Radmer. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Menominee. She enjoyed camping and loved animals. She worked for Yar-Craft Boats and Marinette General Hospital and other local companies. Nancy was a caregiver. She was a member of the Sault Chippewa Tribe.

She is survived by hr daughter, Angela Miller, Marinette; her son, Cletus (Manny) Dixon, Eau Claire, WI, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Burns, Menominee, nieces, a nephew and great-nieces. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Todd Radmer; and brother, James Ward (who died minutes after her own death).

Funeral services will be held at the Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home Oct. 29, at 5 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of services. Deacon Vincent Beckley will officiate. A memorial fund has been established in Nancy's name.

Marlys J. Paavola, 77, Menominee, died Oct. 23, 2010, at the Luther Home.

She was born April 3, 1933, to the late Robert and Lorretta (Brabec) Forton, in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Menominee High School in 1951. On Nov. 2, 1956, she married Arne E. Paavola in Escanaba. He preceded her in death July 8, 1996. She worked at Prange's from the day they opened in 1978 until she retired in 1995. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three sons, Dean (Chantel) Paavola, Rockford, MI, Kevin Paavola, and Scott (Carol) Paavola, both of Menominee; two daughters, Dawn (Ross) Vollmer, Brandenton, FL, and Cindy (fiancé Bill Treptow) Rastall, Porterfield; a brother, Marvin (Camilla) Forton, Wisconsin Rapids, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Roger.

Friends may call at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home Oct. 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. with Rev. Paul Cole officiating. Memorials may be made to Bay Area Cancer Care.
